The Early-Stage Life Sciences Technology Conference is a showcase for platform technologies and recently formed companies that are based on research developed at Massachusetts research institutions, hospitals and universities. Presenters will include founders of new companies spun off from Massachusetts institutions and faculty with technologies that could be the basis of a start-up or license. This is an opportunity for angel investors, venture capitalists and corporate investors to see some of the newest life sciences companies in the Commonwealth.

Format:

Keynote panel discussion: A group of senior business development executives from large pharmaceutical companies will discuss their corporate technology needs, their reasons for locating in Massachusetts and their interactions with research institutions.

Formal company presentations:
There will be formal presentations by a select group of early-stage spin-off companies and faculty seeking their first round of professional investment.

Reception and poster session: A networking reception will include poster presentations by all of the presenting companies and by additional institutions and incubating companies.
