Conference Description:

The Massachusetts Technology Transfer Center and the Center for Economic and Environmental Partnership, Inc are pleased to announce a conference promoting New Ventures in Clean Energy Technologies and the Development of the Clean Energy Cluster in the Northeast. Special sessions will be held by the Massachusetts Hydrogen Coalition and the Energy Special Interest Group at the MIT Enterprise Forum.

The Conference on Clean Energy is an exciting opportunity for investors to learn about the latest technologies emerging from universities and startup companies in the Northeast. Entrepreneurs, inventors, service providers, universities, job seekers, and employers will benefit from the diverse sessions designed to promote interaction and education within the sector.

From domestic security to environmental concerns, energy issues are never far from the headlines these days. Clean energy technologies provide an exciting alternative to business as usual and the Conference on Clean Energy: Partnering and Financing for Emerging Technologies at the Boston Park Plaza on November 7 provides an exciting forum for investors to learn about the latest, most promising technologies available.

In addition, diverse members of the clean energy cluster will have the opportunity to interact and learn from each other in four separate sessions:

  1. An exhibit hall that will host panel discussions on Foreign and Domestic Opportunities in Clean Energy.
  2. Those interested specifically in the hydrogen economy can attend the 2005 Hydrogen and Fuel Summit hosted by the Massachusetts Hydrogen Coalition (MHC).
  3. Employers and job seekers can meet each other at the free job fair being held by the Energy Special Interest Group (ESIG) at the MIT Enterprise Forum.
  4. A reception will be held in the Exhibit Hall featuring a keynote speech by Howard Berke, Co-founder and CEO of Konarka.
