Research Showcase - Poster Session
of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Innovation Day 2010

The Big Undiscovered Idea Poster Competion - cash prizes for 3 best posters!

$1000 - the first prize; $500 the second prize and $250 for the third place.

A key goal of the event is an exchange of ideas, to connect the broader scientific community with those working in finance and policy.  The earliest insight can, in time, foster an entire industry.
Our poster session will showcase fundamental advances in research so they can be seen by a broader audience, to help set the compass for where the industry could go in the future.

There will be a limited number of poster presentation slots available for researchers and entrepreneurs based in Massachusetts to showcase their latest inventions and discoveries at the Massachusetts Life Sciences Innovation Day. If your lab has notable discoveries or new grant awards that you want to publicize to the Massachusetts research and business communities please consider applying to present.

Application submission deadline is extended to May 17, 2010.

WHY SHOULD YOU PRESENT?

The poster session at this event will give you an opportunity to showcase the work of your lab and your discoveries to a broad range of people in the community who are interested in the translation of technology from ideas in the lab to tangible products that can be used in industry.  With attendance of over 300 people this will give you a highly visible place to publicize your current work and to gather supporters as you start the commercialization process.

WHO YOU WILL MEET?

The day's events will bring together the Commonwealth's leading researchers and innovators, along with top-tier management of biotech, pharma and medtech companies and the key life sciences funding sources including angels, foundations, venture capitalists, grant experts, Federal Government representatives, state elected officials, state program managers, and philanthropists focused on cures. All of these people will be able to help you advance your research and commercialization goals.
