Who Should Attend?

Everyone involved in the life sciences innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem of MA should attend. This event is designed to inspire researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, post-docs and graduate students throughout the Commonwealth to take their ideas to commercialization faster - whether it is through management, funding or partnerships.  It is an opportunity to meet serial entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors as well as many top leaders who have created companies or commercialized technologies coming out of laboratories and ideas. The day's event will bring together the Commonwealth's leading researchers and innovators, along with top-tier management of biotech, pharma and medtech companies as well as the key life sciences funding sources including angels, foundations, venture capitalists, grant experts, Federal Government and philanthropists.

of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Innovation Day 2008

There will be a limited number of poster presentation slots available for labs based in Massachusetts to showcase their latest inventions and discoveries at the Massachusetts Life Sciences Innovation Day.  If your lab has notable discoveries or new grant awards that you want to publicize to the Massachusetts research and business communities please consider applying to present. 

WHY SHOULD YOU PRESENT?
The poster session at this event will give you an opportunity to showcase the work of your lab and your discoveries to a broad range of people in the community who are interested in the translation of technology from ideas in the lab to tangible products that can be used in industry.  With attendance of over 300 people this will give you a highly visible place to publicize your current work and to gather supporters as you start the commercialization process.

The day's events will bring together the Commonwealth's leading researchers and innovators, along with top-tier management of biotech, pharma and medtech companies and the key life sciences funding sources including angels, foundations, venture capitalists, grant experts, Federal Government representatives, state elected officials, state program managers, and philanthropists focused on cures.
