MTTC Entrepreneur Coaching Services

The Massachusetts Technology Transfer Center offers a 2-week educational and professional enrichment program "Technology Commercialization and Start-up Formation, Advanced Training Course."

MTTC training for groups from 4 to 12 people includes planning and coordinating the program's content; providing rooms for instruction and meetings; and taking participants to two one-day trips to further Massachusetts business areas.

Course participants reside in the vibrant Cambridge/Boston area with an easy access to MIT and Harvard University.Participants gain knowledge of development of efficient innovative University infrastructure and US intellectual property management; learn about business models of small innovation companies including development of marketing strategy and obtaining investment.

The course included seminars about Technology Transfer Basics; visits to Tech Transfer offices of MA universities, visits to Incubators and Proof of Concept Centers; and various networking events. Participants meet with more than 30 professionals from research institutions, start-ups, big companies, market analysis companies, entrepreneurs; investors, and non-profit organizations, which accelerate technology commercialization in MA.

Participants attend workshop on negotiations, training on pitch presenting and on-line recourses and implement the learned skills in a group assignments and individual assignments consisting of reports and presentations. Upon successful completion of the Training Program, participants are provided a certificate of participation.

MTTC staff member can provide interpreting from and Russian and Hebrew during training sessions as necessary.
